At Your "Service"

I really enjoyed being at the registration table the first year because I got to meet and greet each person and it was a great feeling when after only being sober a little over one year at the time, that people actually remembered my name.  I couldn't believe that they actually remembered MY name, imagine that.  I enjoyed it so much that I was already looking forward to the second annual the same day that the first annual had their closing ceremonies.  The second year I was blessed with the opportunity to sell tickets for the 50/50 raffle.  It was so exciting standing on stage picking and reading the winning number.  I could not believe that a drunk like me was a part of such an amazing event like this.  I am really glad to once again be a part of the service committee this year and I would like to encourage everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to give back what has been freely given to us.  This is truly a very spiritual event and throught the conference many spiritual moments will take place.  Please join us for a fun filled weekend.  I promise you will not be disappointed.
